ARTS COUNCIL ELECTS
NEW OFFICERS AND DIRECTORS

The Arts & Cultural Council for Greater Rochester elected new officers and members of the board of directors at its 19th Annual Meeting.

Officers for 1999-2000:
President, Peter Giopulos, PhD
Vice President, Lois Niland
Secretary, Robert Laird
Treasurer, Michael F. Ritz

Newly elected for a three-year term on the board of directors:
Gladys Santiago, Rochester City Council and Ibero-American Action League
Kevin Murray, Monroe County Legislature
Ron Thomas, Baden Street Settlement
Jeffrey J. Pollock, Silver Pixel Press
Hope Drummond, community volunteer
Richard Everett, retired attorney, Eastman Kodak Company

Julie Van Benthuysen, Chase Manhattan Bank, was elected to the board in February 1999 to fill a vacant position.

Re-elected for a three-year term on the board of directors:
Peter Giopulos, Rochester Institute of Technology
Nathan Lyons, Visual Studies Workshop and SUNY Brockport
Joanne VanZandt, community volunteer
Karin Wieder, Project U.N.I.Q.U.E. and Rochester City School District

Retiring from the board:
Lois Giess, Rochester City Council
Lynda Garner Goldstein, Monroe County Legislature
David Hale, SUNY Brockport
Milch Huang, MD, Rochester Chinese Association
