Arts Council Publishes New Edition of Media Guide
Rochester, NY -- The Arts & Cultural Council for Greater Rochester announces the 9th edition of its Media Guide & Directory. The publication is Rochester's only directory of local and regional media contacts. The Media Guide provides extensive information on how to present an organization or business and its programs or products to the media. The Media Guide can help businesses of any size to communicate better with the public through local television, radio and print media. Included in the Arts & Cultural Council's Media Guide are:
- Listings of all regional media organizations with addresses, telephone and fax numbers, contact names of all key personnel, deadlines, public service announcement specifications, circulation figures and areas served.
- Thorough, easy to read guidelines on all the basics of media relations, including: How to write and place an effective press release, public service announcement and media advisory.
