The Erie Canalway National Heritage Corridor is pleased to announce its first Erie Canalway Photo Contest. We're looking for photographs that cature the beauty, history, bustling activity, and character of New York's amazing canals and canal communities. Photographs must be taken within the boundaries of the national heritage corridor which is comprised of the Erie, Oswego, Cayuga/Seneca, Champlain Canals and surrounding communities.
The deadline for submission is September 15, 2006 and winners will be announced by October 20, 2006. Winning entries in four categories will appear in the Erie Canalway 2007 Calendar.
