Arts & Cultural Council for Greater Rochester Presents “The New World” New Work By Leonard Urso
Leonard Urso was born in 1953 and grew up in Rome, New York. His pursuit of art began when he was a young man and eventually led him to study at the State University of New Paltz. After graduating with a MFA Degree, Leonard began his professional career as a designer and silversmith for Oneida Ltd. Silversmiths. Currently Leonard holds an endowed chair as the Ann Mowris Mulligan Distinguished Professor.
“The Arts & Cultural Council is delighted to feature these never before seen works by Leonard Urso,” said Sarah Lentini, Arts & Cultural Council President and CEO.
The gallery is located at the Arts Council’s offices at 277 North Goodman Street and is open to the public Monday through Friday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
