ARTS & CULTURAL COUNCIL FOR GREATER ROCHESTER AND THE ROCHESTER MUSEUM & SCIENCE CENTER TO HOST NEW YORK STATE COUNCIL ON THE ARTS APPLICATION SEMINAR
December 17, 2004, Rochester, NY--The Arts & Cultural Council for Greater Rochester and The Rochester Museum & Science Center are hosting a New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA) grant application seminar on January 26, 2005 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm, at The Rochester Museum & Science Center, 657 East Avenue, Bausch Auditorium, Rochester. NYSCA, a public state agency, provides grants to non-profit organizations throughout the State for arts services and programs serving the general public.
NYSCA has an annual March 1 deadline for registering an application for funds. Information about its grants programs is available on-line at www.nysca.org. Updated funding guidelines and application will be available on the website in December.
The grant application seminar will aid new applicant organizations and other arts professionals working on their first NYSCA application. Anyone new to filing a NYSCA grant application is encouraged to attend.
