Call for Nominations for 2007 Arts Awards
Annual Arts Awards recognizes leaders who have made an impact
on our region’s culture

Rochester , N.Y. , April 16, 2007 – The Arts & Cultural Council for Greater Rochester is now accepting nominations for its 2007 Annual Arts Awards through Friday, May 18, 2007. The annual awards program, which will culminate in a much anticipated awards luncheon on Thursday, October 25, 2007, was established 24 years ago to honor outstanding individuals and organizations that have made a significant, demonstrable contribution to the growth and well being to the greater Rochester cultural community.

The public may nominate artists, cultural organizations or patrons of the arts in the following categories: Champion of the Arts (Business/Foundation), Champion of the Arts (Individual), Cultural Organization Award, and Individual Artist Award (including Literary, Media, Performing, and Visual).

What : The 24th Annual Arts Awards, an event of the Arts & Cultural Council for Greater Rochester

When : Deadline for submissions is Friday, May 18, 2007

Annual Arts Awards Luncheon is Thursday, October 25, 2007 at the DoubleTree Hotel Rochester

Who : Anyone may nominate an artist, cultural organization or patron of the arts who is a part-time resident of the greater Rochester area.
