Affordable Web Site Development Classes
Offered at Arts & Cultural Council

ROCHESTER, NY—The Arts & Cultural Council for Greater Rochester is offering a three-part web site development mini-course for individuals, small business owners, and non-profit organizations. The program will be taught by Barbara Snyderman of Business Information Technology Solutions (BITS).

The Web Development course, at the Arts & Cultural Council offices, 277 N. Goodman Street (across from Village Gate Square), is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 4; Friday, May 12; and Friday, May 19. Instruction will focus on building, maintaining, and marketing a small business web site. The cost for the series is $50 for members, $75 for non-members, and $25 for students. Bring a brown-bag lunch; beverages will be provided.

Anyone unfamiliar with the basics of web site development is asked to sign up for an additional, introductory program, “Web Sites 101,” from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, April 28th. This will cover basic terminology and guidelines for web site development and is free to members, $10 for non-members, and $5 for students, with registration for the three-session workshop. Bring a brown-bag lunch; beverages will be provided.
