Arts &Cultural Council Announces Summer 2003 Special Opportunity Stipends
May 9, 2003 Rochester, NY - The Arts and Cultural Council for Greater Rochester announces the Special Opportunity Stipends (S.O.S.) for the Genesee Valley/Finger Lakes Region. Three times per year funds totaling up to $5000 in each round are awarded in $100 - $600 stipends for artists in all disciplines.
The next round of applications will be due on May 20, 2003.
Applications are available from the Arts & Cultural Council, 277 N. Goodman Street, Rochester, or on the web at www.artsrochester.org. Recipients must reside in one of the following counties: Monroe, Cayuga, Livingston, Genesee, Ontario, Orleans, Seneca, Yates, Wayne, or Wyoming.
The Special Opportunity Stipend program is funded by New York State Council on the Arts through the New York Foundation for the Arts. The program is administered by the Arts and Cultural Council for Greater Rochester in association with area arts councils.
