2001 Culture Builds Communities Grant Program

Rochester, N.Y. June 5, 2001 - The Arts & Cultural Council is offering Culture Builds Communities, a art grant program for neighborhood groups, which is a joint project of Citibank, City of Rochester, and the Arts & Cultural Council for Greater Rochester. Eligible projects will build neighborhood pride through participatory projects that involve artists and/or cultural organizations, and that result in the creation of a lasting work of art. The deadline for proposals is Friday, June 29, 2001.

The application and past recipients are available on the Arts & Cultural Council's web site, or by sending a self-addressed stamped envelope to the Arts & Cultural Council, 277 North Goodman Street, Rochester, New York 14607.
