Arts & Cultural Council Presents Workshop: Maximize the Positive!

The Arts in Education Regional Roundtable of the Arts & Cultural Council for Greater Rochester presents Maximize the Positive! Strategies for making your assessment data work for you, Thursday, June 7th, 2001 from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. at the Memorial Art Gallery, Conference Room in Cutler Union Building, 500 University Avenue. Workshop facilitators are Karin Wieder, Executive Director, Project U.N.I.Q.U.E. and Jack Langerak, Associate Director, Young Audiences of Rochester. The workshop is free and open to all those interested in learning how to put assessment data to good use.

This interactive workshop for arts educators, arts-in-education coordinators, cultural arts representatives and administrators will investigate measuring and sharing the impact of arts programming. How do you determine what information to gather? How do you get this feedback? What do you do with it? Participants will analyze an arts-in-education experience, learn how to determine what is critical about its assessment, and prepare a variety of reports based on this information.
