Arts & Cultural Council Awards $94,389 to Area
Artists and Arts Organizations

January 27, 2005 Rochester, NY The Arts & Cultural Council for Greater Rochester, in partnership with the New York State Council on the Arts, the New York State Legislature, and Rochester Area Communication Foundation, today announced the 2005 Community Arts Grants. Thirty-four area artists, school partnerships, and arts organizations will receive a total of $94,389 through three different grant programs.

The grant programs and recipients are as follows:

Capacity Building Grants in collaboration with Rochester Area Community Foundation

J.W. Spencer School #16, RCSD; artists Calvin Hubbard & M.J. Iuppa, $2,000
