Health Insurance
The Arts & Cultural Council for Greater Rochester offers health insurance through Excellus Blue Cross Blue Shield of the Rochester Area to individual members and employees of organization members of the Arts & Cultural Council who live in Monroe, Livingston, Yates, Ontario, Seneca, or Wayne counties.
New members should select and join a plan within 30 days of joining the Arts Council; otherwise health plans are only available during open enrollment effective January 1st. The deadline for new enrollments or changes for existing members is December 15th.
Members must prove they are a business or self-employed, and work at least 20 hours in the arts to qualify. All applications are subject to approval by Excellus. Payments are due quarterly.
