Counseling and Technical Assistance
Arts Council staff provides individual and group counseling and technical assistance for arts organizations and artists. Examples include:
an artist seeking information about grants
an emerging arts organization seeking information about incorporation
In addition to individual counseling, we provide the following services:
Occasional workshops on a wide variety of topics, including legal issues, strategic planning, board development, and fundraising.
Arts organizations receiving support through the
Community Arts Grants Organizational Stabilization tier participate in ongoing technical assistance with each other.
Regular Artists' Issues Forums, sponsored by our Artists' Issues Committee, provides workshops and networking for local artists.
Legal services are available for those who qualify through the
Arts Council's Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts Program.
