Introduction

The INNOVATION CONFERENCE SERIES: Connecting Creativity to Regional Success brings together leaders from the arts, science, business, education, and government. The quarterly series focuses on the roles of creativity and innovation in building a competitive, sustainable and livable community in the 21st century.

June 9 will look at how arts and culture are drivers of community development. Speakers from Rochester, Seattle and Providence will discuss innovative models and approaches for successful community design and building . Our keynote speaker, Rochester Mayor Robert Duffy, will discuss his vision for Rochester, focusing on public safety, economic development, and education.

Don’t miss these opportunities to learn from key figures who are shifting mindsets in Rochester and in cities across the country; to explore the intersection between the arts, business, science and technology; and to create dynamic partnerships to impact economic, human, and community outcomes.

What people are saying:

"....people were excited, energized and ready to help with the branding of Rochester as a cultural center."
~Roslyn Bakst Goldman, Certified Art Appraiser and Consultant

"...this initiative strengthens our community and promotes a sense of pride in what we have and what we can become.”
~June Foster, Rochester Film Office at the Greater Rochester Visitors Association

"We greatly appreciate your efforts toward communicating to our region just how innovation is important.
            ~
Colleen Hendrick, Bush Mango Drum & Dance
