Introduction

The December 7 conference launched our new INNOVATION CONFERENCE SERIES. Innovative models and approaches from Rochester, Cincinnati, Washington DC, and Toronto were discussed. A keynote presentation was given on Rochester's Renaissance Square Project from Monroe County Executive Maggie Brooks.

The INNOVATION CONFERENCE SERIES: Connecting Creativity to Regional Success brings together leaders from the arts, science, business, education, and government. The series will focus on the benefits of creativity and innovation in building a competitive, sustainable and livable city in the 21st century.

The December 7 conference of the Innovation Series is made possible through major funding from New York State Senator Joseph E. Robach with additional support from Excellus BlueCross Blue Shield, Eastman Kodak Company, and the New York State Council on the Arts.
