Published quarterly by the Arts & Cultural Council, Metropolitan, offers a look at the amazing individuals and organizations that make Rochester a great place to live and visit. 
A regular feature is our Regional Events Calendar, as well as original articles that promote the vast and exceedingly varied creative and cultural community that resides in and around Rochester.
The free quarterly publication premiered December 2005. The spring 2008 issue includes feature stories about Rochester Oratorio Society and their upcoming trip to Beijing to participate in the Chinese Choral Festival preceding the summer Olympic games; an artist profile of Pepsy M. Kettavong, whose latest sculpture of Nathaniel Rochester will be unveiled in May of 2008; an event at the University of Rochester featuring novelists Umberto Eco and Salman Rushdie; and the Arts & Cultural Council's efforts to promote the region's creative sector.
Metropolitan is available at most cultural institutions, libraries, lodging facilities, and various restaurant and retail establish-ments throughout our region.
